Been searching for a long time.
A lifetime of searching.
When he found it,
he didn’t recognize it.
A lifetime
There are moments in life when I feel confused, when I must make significant decisions that will determine my future. These are moments where I need to reinvent myself. While these situations can be dizzying, they are necessary and always pave the way for new opportunities.
The project
“A lifetime” is a short project I undertook while conducting a month-long photography course. During the course, I guided participants in creating visual poems through images. As they crafted their poems, I developed my own.
“A lifetime” is a liberating project that encapsulates the phase I was going through. A time when I felt lost and uncertain about the path to follow. I pondered questions, yet my attempts to answer them often led me back to the starting point. Hence, I opted for a circular narrative that lacks a distinct beginning or end.
These are conceptual images that support multiple interpretations. My intention was for each person to interpret them in their own way, providing a space for personal reflection.
