PHOTO BOOK
Gran Canaria. Letters from the Atlantic
This book (in Spanish and English), which represented nearly three years of work, is a commission from the publishing house, based in Lanzarote, Ediciones Remotas. It marks the beginning of the Cicerone Collection, composed of travel books by authors: a personal vision from a photographer of each of the Canary Islands, supported with practical information about what is shown. The idea is to journey through the island alongside a photographer through their images and recommendations, revealing not only the places to visit but also the people and experiences to embrace.
But above all, the book is dedicated to my son, who was born in 2016. Through letters I address to him accompanied by the photos, I attempt to explain him what motivated his mother and me to decide to settle back in Gran Canaria.
What will you find in the book?
In addition to the letters I write to my son, the book takes a journey across the island through photographs of its people and culture, landscapes, villages and towns.
